The right tread for every surface

Ecology

Raw materials made as a by-product of production processes Liprad d.o.o. exports to Austria and Germany where they are processed into, for example, sports tracks and playground covers.

We actively contribute to environmental protection

Environmental protection is, in addition to the high quality requirements that apply to our tires, an extremely important factor in our business. The used tire changes in the retreading process and in this way we give the worn tires a new service cycle. Liprad d.o.o. specializes in the production of so-called cold retreading of tires specialized for very high loads eg. trucks, buses and industry vehicles.

EU regulations

Rubber is a complex product with about 20 components and more than ten layers of various rubber compounds.

As of the end of 2012, every tire in the EU must have an eco-label. Label must show among other things, fuel consumption, driving resistance, adhesion to ground and noise intensity.

Responsible behavior

We are pleased to say that we are part of an environmentally conscious world that cares about the environment. Tires are known to be one of the biggest polluters of the environment, but few people know that they are fully environmentally friendly. The tires have textiles and steel.

The rest is used to make rubber beads, which are used to produce new products such as playgrounds, sports fields, various aqua parks, athletics tracks, making wheels for containers, stands for traffic signs and much more. The raw materials created during the production process are exported by Liprad to Germany and Austria, and consumers may buy them again in a completely different edition.

Our recommendation

Choosing the right tire not only brings safety and savings, but also contributes to a higher level of environmental protection. Regular pressure control is a very important economic factor because in this way fuel consumption can be reduced by up to 30%.

Tire pressure monitoring is recommended once a month. The correct pressure reduces resistance and damage, which means less gas consumption, and thus can actively reduce consumption and CO2 emissions. In addition, caution is recommended when disposing of worn-out tires, in order to further contribute to the protection of the environment in which we live.
